i love how this picture makes it look like my friend emily and i hiked to the top of something -- but really, we just drove to the top of something, trying to find the trail head. but, let's just pretend we did something really spectacular.
Shhhhh! You're not supposed to give away "secrets" like that and instead tell everybody "this was just a quick pause on our hike up to the snowcapped peaks above Battle Ground ... took us only a couple of hours ... trudging in the snow slowed us down ... might try and scale Mt. Rainer or Mt. Hood next Saturday." Wouldn't that make you feel better?
