i'm back to posting for a bit.

may 9.

we went and saw a "celtic woman" concert in portland. before that, rusty's dad treated us to a fabulous seafood dinner. these are scallops and they happen to be my best friend.

we had a celebration dinner for rusty because he is graduating this summer. these are our toasting celebration cider glasses. i love the myriad of shapes and sizes.

peter showed up at the house with what looked like muddy front legs. turned out it was motor oil, and jessica and dad had to give peter a "bath." it was slightly entertaining, peter was definately not having the time of his life.

my finished yarn. no where near perfect, but the process and the finished product make me happy.

this is the day that jessica and i tied playing quiddler. out of all the millions of games that we have played in the taylor house, never once have they ended in a tie. we went into extra innings, and jessica won. we decided to play again.... and tied again. jessica and i were slightly weirded out.

we've been playing a lot of pictionary lately, and when you play a lot of pictionary, you have moments of pictionary brilliance .... and also moments of pictionary shame. this would be one of my more shameful moments.

what do you do when it's the evening, and you realize you didn't take a photo? you find awesome props around your house, and take equally awesome (or perhaps ridiculous?) photos of yourself. plus, the glasses make me look really smart... ?
